Terrible photo, but pretty pleased with this little navy pinwale cord dress from an Enid Gilchrist pattern - Baby Clothes book. Appliqued the kite and tail using a decorative stitch. Faced with the same fabric as the kite. Cheapies from Spotlight's new year sale - all $2.10 a metre, so this wee dress probably cost $1 all up given the amount of fabric it used! Used the snap press from Assunta for the first time. Need to reinforce the shoulders under the snaps with the next version. Should fit this winter, maybe with a hot pink top and tights...
