Went to Spotlight today (30% off sale) and picked up a metre of this little birdy print for $4.20, plus some polyester wadding. This is the umbrella fold stroller that fits in the car boot and actually leaves room to fit in something else! But it's not very comfortable looking - hopefully this will help. Used a double layer of wadding, just measured the stroller to check where the buttonholes needed to be. Should have rounded the top slightly so it fitted a bit neater but I'm sure the passenger won't notice, so I'll ignore it too :)
Now to make a sleeping bag/foot muff thing for the mountain buggy.
