Top from Amvic Baby Knit Kit 1979 - size 00. Looks to be quite short and wide but I measured it against other t-shirts and it's only about an inch shorter than others that fit her. Turtles are upside down, whoops! Used a twin needle to sew on trim - then turned and topstitched again, and trimmed off excess. Much flatter than tucking under on the wrong side and topstitching.
Pants are from Topkids Baby and Toddler Annual 23 - modified to be one piece, eliminating the bump in the side from the green gingham bloomers. 3 rows of shirring in the leg, with elastic in the bobbin. Scallop stitch on the bottom hem - what a pain, looks cute but will be interesting to see how it washes up.
